I'm going to just do a dump of what's in my head. I've been thinking a lot lately trying to sort out my circles of people and the way I interact with them. In seeking valuation for my own thoughts and research I've come to realize that I am squashing others around me. I struggle with factually wrong opinion and historical inaccuracies.  I struggle with hearing ideas that aren't prepared to be probed or poked at.

What I am discovering though, people need to feel like they are heard. With making corrections or delving for more information I am learning that it makes people feel minimized. I struggle with this mightily. It just seems we live in a world of inaccuracies and slowly we are living in a world where perceptions, not facts will be ruling. Mindshare exceeds market share. And perceptions out weigh the truth. Accusations outweigh actions. And so on and so forth.

I struggle with maintaining friends because I'm so binary in thinking and enjoy facts. In my circles there isn't a want to be correct, just valued. And I struggle.

i am trying now. I've decided to just listen. When I'm asked to fact check I'll be happy to oblige. But for now, I think I've reached a point in my life where I feel that allowing others to reach the truth on their own is valuable.

Pray for me, it is not in my nature to just remain silent when perception rules over the truth.
