This past weekend was interesting. Besides being bombarded with life, I had some time to reflect on the holiday season being over, the life of a leader whose life was ended too soon, and the bitter cold. My mind hasn't been clear recently and I'd like to write some about Mlk and what he means to me in contrast to the life we have today. But I can't get the words out.
I'd like to talk about this cold weather, but my hands are frozen.
I'd like to talk trash about my neighbor and the fact that they are still shining their Christmas lights, but my decorations are still outside (not that I put them there).
So I'll leave you with these images in order from Saturday to today.
Christmas lights still on 1/16
Taking back mlk rally.
Just outside the church that held the rally, an armed robber shot and killed after raising his gun at the police.
The cold "ride" to work.
